4-H

What is 4-H?

4-H first started in Jack County, Texas as a Tomato Club for girls over a hundred years ago. Now over 65,000 Texas youth are enrolled members of 4-H clubs in Texas.  4-H is dedicated to learning and understanding how its programs help youth become responsible citizens leading healthy and productive lives and discovering critical science-focused innovations.  4-H gives youth a chance to pursue their own interests, make new friends, develop new skills, become leaders and help shape their communities.
